Founded in 2004, Energate is a privately held company headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, with offices in North Carolina, Toronto and California.
Energate’s leadership team has extensive business experience plus a powerful combination of energy management and communications experience with a deep knowledge of in-home controls. A core group of the company previously worked together at Enerstat, a provider of innovative climate control products, where they commercialized the world’s first electronic programmable thermostat.
