Consumers are now able to remotely manage their home's comfort settings and energy usage with Energate’s latest development, MyEnergate.
With MyEnergate, utilities and consumers reap the benefits of remotely managing their energy use. The Energate mobile application allows consumers to control their air conditioning, HVAC equipment, pool pumps, water heaters and smart thermostats from anywhere at anytime, enabling their households to work as efficiently as possible. Consumers are now able to remotely adjust their Energate smart thermostat’s temperature, schedule or update a vacation event, change the system and/or fan operating settings and receive alerts. In addition, the MyEnergate portal allows households to visualize, understand and manage their home energy usage.
The MyEnergate application for mobile devices provides functionality that mirrors that of Energate’s existing online Consumer Portal. Consumers are able to:
- View home energy consumption & make desired adjustments
- Access current weather information
- View text messages from their utility company
- Opt-out of events where permitted
- Change the settings on their thermostat (schedule, setpoints, setting various hold).
