^ 1.    Why is my pool pump not running?

Check your load switch to see if the red light is on.

If the red light is on that indicates that your electricity provider has sent an energy event to the load switch connected to your pool pump to reduce the load on the electricity grid by reducing the amount of time that your pool pump runs.

If your pool pump is not running and the red light on your load switch is not on, there may be a problem with your pool pump.

^ 3.     Why is the red light on my load switch on?

The red light on your load switch will turn on when your equipment is turned off by the load switch. This will occur when the OPA sends a signal to the load switch connected to your equipment, to temporarily reduce the demand on the electricity grid by turning off some equipment. This is sometimes called load curtailment.

The red light will turn off when your equipment is turned back on.
